Winter 2011-2012

For winter 2011-12 the following programs are being offered by NOVA A.C. coaches.


Program 1 : Youth Conditioning for Track

Ages: 9-14 years

Description: Designed for those athletes who are serious about running and have an interest in competing in indoor meets over the winter months

Location: Phenom Strength & Conditioning, 21690 Red Rum Drive #107, Ashburn, VA 20147

Dates: December 1- February 14

Days & Times: Tuesdays & Thursdays -6:30-7:30pm at Phenom. Additional outdoor training on Sunday p.m. TBA

Cost: $260 (Uniform not included)

Other Information: Space is limited. Priority will be given to current NOVA A.C. members and older athletes.  Athletes in this program will register through NOVA A.C. Contact Julie Hayden@ jahayden@aol.com to register.


Program 2: Winter Conditioning for High School Sprinters

Ages:  High School

Description: Designed for those high school athletes who are serious about sprinting and have an interest in competing in indoor meets over the winter months.

Location: Phenom Strength & Conditioning, 21690 Red Rum Drive #107, Ashburn, VA 20147

Dates: December 1- February 14

Days & Times: Tuesdays & Thursdays -7:15pm-8:30pm at Phenom. Additional weekend TBA

Cost: $270, including strength assessment. (Uniform not included)

Other Information:  Lead by Fenton Hugg. Space is limited. Priority will be given to current NOVA A.C. members and older athletes.

Parents and athletes in both of the above programs will be required to sign a release waiver for Phenom Strength & Conditioning.

 

Program 3: Winter Conditioning for High School Runners

Ages:  High School

Description: A conditioning program for both sprinters and middle/long distance athletes

Location: Claude Moore Recreation Center, Sterling, VA 20164

Dates: December 1- Feb 2 Make up dates available if needed.

Days & Times: Tuesdays & Thursdays -8:00pm-9:15pm. Additional weekend training optional

Cost: Tuesday, or Thursday only 8 sessions/ 10 hours- $100.

 Both days 16 sessions/ 20 hours $200 (Uniform not included)

Other Information:  Lead by Julie Hayden, Terri Rath (Tuesday) & Bruce Bornarth (Thursday)
